Brooke Finlay


Brooke Finlay graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Intercultural Communication with a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures in 2015. She graduated top of class earning the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants award for Academic Excellence. She holds a B.A.H. in political science and graduated with distinction from Queen’s University.

Brooke is a Member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (RCIC Membership Number # 514337) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants.

She specializes in Federal and Provincial skilled worker categories, spousal sponsorship applications, LMIA applications and all categories of work permit applications. She is dedicated to meeting Whistler Immigration client’s needs, delivering superior customer service and her knowledge of immigration law and policy is comprehensive.

Prior to her joining Whistler Immigration Brooke took part in the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office in South Africa. She assisted asylum seekers in submitting their refugee claims and navigating government processes while ensuring that their rights were being upheld.

Barbara Kolvek

Barbara graduated from Queen’s University with a B.A.H. in Applied Economics excelling in applied econometrics, labour market theory, and socioeconomic development. She achieved a 4.0 GPA in her senior year and was awarded the Dean’s List recognition for her academic success.
After living in Europe and the United States, Barbara’s family immigrated to Canada in 1997 and she understands the challenges and concerns faced by families and businesses alike. With over nine years of customer service experience, she is committed to delivering client focused services. She works under the guidance of the Whistler Immigration team to gather information from clients, prepare forms and paperwork and to assist client applications for permits and immigration to Canada.

In addition to knowledgeable office staff there are two founding directors who are both authorized to represent clients to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The two founders oversee immigration strategy and are expert in utilizing government programs to find solutions for international clients and Canadian companies.

Whistler Immigration is closely associated with businesses in the area specializing in employment law, and administrative law. Our office is located in the main village in Whistler. Whistler Immigration considers itself a medium sized boutique firm that prides itself on maintaining low and reasonable fees for its clients.
